When you are planning a wedding and reception I think the hardest part is trying to find the perfect wedding favor for your guests. You can go with groovy crystal favors, ceramic wedding favors, and even a more precious gift like household items. No matter which you consider, you’ll find more than enough to choose from.
Even for the country western themed ceremony and reception I’m planning, I have run across great possibilities for ceramic favors for our guests. You can use just about any favor made of ceramic for almost any themed wedding you are planning. While looking through all the possible wedding favors I spotted an adorable little black ceramic wedding tray made especially for the little tea caddys that came with it. Some of the selection I checked out were tea lights, flower vases, and candle holders that would make awesome ceramic wedding gifts. I made wedding favor shopping the last thing on my to do list, because not only is it hard to choose the right gift, but there is just so much to choose from.
So, my tables were first on my list to be accessorized. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. I bought adorable little barbecue grills as place card holders, which I let all the guests keep after the reception. No catering service for us, we were having a cookout for our reception and the little barbecue grill place card holders were perfect for the tables. To have the feel of the old west, we added little miniature cowboy hats for everyone’s place setting and set out cowboy boot shaped glasses for them to drink from. I chose the really lovely honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. I felt they worked out better for a country western theme and I really liked the way they looked. But, I came close to choosing one of the candle holders as their ceramic favor because they were just so groovy. Our tables looked fantastic and with all the surrounding décor accessories, it looked like the perfect down home celebration.
With the haystacks we set up and the white lights twinkled in the trees, it was the epitome of a country wedding. Our wedding cake topper was not to be believed, it was figurines of a cowgirl roping her man and hauling him to the altar. Our wedding cake topper was the hit of the evening, everyone loves a good laugh. We all had a night to remember, with dancing, partying and lots of great laughs. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
We also had nice little surprises for our wedding party people, like our bridesmaids and groomsmen for instance. For the men in the wedding party, my husband had chosen these cool cowboy steins and thank you gifts, and I chose delicate little ceramic wedding gifts for the ladies. But for the little flower girl and the ring boy we bought tee shirts that had flower girl and ringboy printed on them. Everyone seemed to be happy with the thank you gifts we chose for them.
I ordered bride and groom cowboy hats for me and my husband, a few accessories like an adorable western themed guest book and pen set, and a gorgeous wedding album to store the memories of today in. I thought this would turn out great, but it was way more better than I had imagined, what a super party we had.
